Jamaican meat is a very original and effective way of cooking beef. If you have a nice piece of beef - try experimenting and cooking Jamaican meat, it's easy!
Cooking description:
For the authenticity and authenticity of the recipe, as they say, I am responsible - a simple recipe for Jamaican meat was told to me by a familiar chef who for some time trained in one of the restaurants in Montego Bay, the largest Jamaican resort. No, he did not go at all to gain experience with Jamaican chefs - on the contrary, in one of the restaurants he cooked European and Russian dishes. But I also learned a thing or two from Jamaican. In particular - a very simple but effective way to cook beef, which is often used by Jamaican chefs.
The taste range of the dish turns out to be really original. The beef goes well with toasted bell peppers and soy sauce, and the aromas of garlic and thyme permeate the dish. The dish is prepared very quickly - it will take no more than half an hour for everything. So, definitely, the recipe is worth adding to your baggage of culinary knowledge:)

How to cook Jamaican Meat
Cut the beef into thin slices (slices) across the veins. Put the chopped beef in a bowl, add a couple of teaspoons of soy sauce, and stir. Leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes. We clean the bell pepper from seeds and membranes, cut into thin strips. Heat some olive oil in a frying pan. Throw a couple of garlic cloves crushed by the flat side of a knife into the heated oil. Fry until the characteristic smell of garlic appears, after which we discard the cloves of garlic from the pan. Toss the pickled beef into the garlic-flavored butter. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes over medium heat.
