One of my all-time favorites is the beef stew for this recipe. Such beef can be served both as a hot dish and as a cold appetizer (if you let the piece cool and cut it). The beef turns out to be amazingly tender. Try it, this recipe is really good.

- Beef - 1 Kilogram
- Butter - 60 Grams
- Lard - 40 Grams
- Red wine - 1 Glass
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Carrots - 1 Piece
- Celery - 1 Piece
- Cloves - 2 Pieces
- Broth - 1 Glass
- Tomato Paste - 1/2 Cup
- Tomatoes - 3 Pieces
- Salt, pepper - To taste
How to cook "Chunk of beef stew"
Fill a piece of beef with pieces of bacon. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the beef until slightly crusty on all sides. When the meat is browned, add the coarsely chopped vegetables (onions, carrots, celery and tomatoes), tomato paste and spices to the saucepan. Pour in wine and bring to a boil. Add broth. Cover with a lid and simmer for 5-6 hours over low heat. If the liquid evaporates, add a little more broth or water. Remove the finished piece of beef from the pan, and grind the remaining mass with a blender and serve as a sauce. Enjoy your meal!
