How to make Flemish Beef in Beer

Chop the onion and garlic finely. Cut the beef into 3 cm pieces across the grain and roll in flour. In a thick-bottomed saucepan, fry the onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent. Add the meat and fry until brown on all sides. Pour beer and broth over the contents of a saucepan, add rosemary, bay leaf and spices. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Half an hour before cooking, if you wish, you can add some chopped carrots to the pan. Remove from heat and serve with garnish (mashed potatoes are great). The dish is ready!
