How to make "Red Onion and Tomato Salad"
Peel the red onion and cut into thin half rings. Soak for 20 minutes in salted hot water to release all the bitterness from the onion. Drain the water. Add onion, salt, pepper, olive oil and a little lemon juice to a salad bowl. Stir. Add thinly sliced tomatoes and chopped cilantro. Stir - and that's it, the salad is ready!
