Delicious candied lemon peels can be easily prepared at home! I advise everyone to try.
Cooking description:
Wash the lemons and peel them. Cut the lemon zest into thin slices, place in a saucepan and soak in cold water for 2 days. Change the water periodically so that no bitterness remains.
Now prepare the syrup. Put a saucepan with 300 ml of water on the fire, boil, melt sugar in it. Put lemon peels in a saucepan with sugar syrup, boil again and cook in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Cook over medium heat with the lid open until the water is completely evaporated. This will take about an hour.
Remove the candied peels from the lemon peels and place on a low baking sheet or large cutting board.
Candied peels from lemon peels dry almost all day, but they turn out incredibly tasty!
