The recipe for the Prague cake came across my eyes for a long time, but I still did not dare to cook it, and just recently I still decided to bake it for my niece's birthday, so I was doubly worried. By the way, the recipe seemed very complicated and tricky to me, I thought that I certainly would not get the expected result. But the cake turned out to be simply incredibly tasty. Delicate chocolate crust, smeared with light chocolate butter cream and poured with chocolate icing … what could be better and tastier ?! Now the recipe for how to cook Prague cake has become my favorite, and I will prepare this delicacy for all the holidays. The only thing: you need to bake two cakes at once, otherwise one is somehow not enough.

Ingredients:

  • Sour cream - 200 Grams
  • Condensed milk - 300 grams (150 - in dough, 150 - in cream)
  • Eggs - 3 Pieces
  • Sugar - 200 grams (160 - in the dough, 40 - in the glaze)
  • Flour - 1 Glass
  • Soda - 1 Teaspoon
  • Cocoa - 6 Art. spoons (3 - in the dough, 2 - in the cream, 1 - in the glaze)
  • Milk - 3 tbsp. spoons
  • Butter - 200 grams (180 - in cream, 20 - in glaze)

How to make Prague cake

Prepare all the ingredients you need. Let's start with the test. Mix eggs with sugar until smooth. I prefer to do this with a mixer. Add 150 g of condensed milk and sour cream, stir well again until smooth. Now add 3 tbsp. spoons of cocoa, flour and soda. Stir with a spoon until smooth. The dough should be similar in consistency to pancake dough. Pour the dough into a baking dish with a diameter of 22-24 cm and send to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 20 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the cream. Mix softened butter with 150 g of condensed milk, add cocoa. Beat with a mixer until smooth.
