You must agree that shortbread dough is the most obedient, tasty and popular basis for many culinary decisions, but the classic variations with butter are boring. I present my recipe.
I love making shortbread dough with vegetable oil because it is not as labor intensive as with regular butter or margarine. Kneading such a dough is much easier and more enjoyable than trying to crush butter with a fork and mix it with flour. Anything can be prepared from such a dough. And in terms of taste, it does not differ much from dough on margarine or butter. Try my version of how to make shortbread dough in vegetable oil and you will not regret it!

How to cook "Shortcrust pastry in vegetable oil"
Combine kefir, butter, flour, a pinch of salt and an egg in a large container. Beat the dough into crumbs. Mix the flour well. Try not to knead the dough too much, otherwise it will crumble and you will not be able to cook anything. Add vinegar-quenched soda to the dough. Mix well again. Then form the dough into a ball and chill in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
