- Puff yeast-free dough - 500 grams (1 pack)
- Cherries in their own juice - 200 grams (can be replaced with cherry jam or fresh berries, grated with sugar.)
- Egg - 1 Piece
- Sugar - 0.5 cups
- Sesame - To taste (for decoration. Can be replaced with powdered sugar.)
How to make "Cherry pie from puff pastry without yeast"
1. Defrost the dough and roll it into a thin layer. Make horizontal small cuts on both sides. Put the cherries in the middle of the layer and sprinkle with sugar. If you have cherries in sweet syrup or jam, do not add sugar. 2. Now, with wet hands, pull the cuts and lay them on top of the cherries, alternating, as if weaving a pigtail. Beat the egg with a little sugar and grease the pie on top. 3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped nuts. We bake for 15-25 minutes depending on the power of the oven. We take out, cool and serve. 4. The cake is ready! Call everyone to the table!
