Of course, you will have to go to Uzbekistan for real Jizzakh samsa. But in this recipe I will try to convey the spirit and taste of that very traditional dish of this region in Central Asia.
Traditional samsa from Uzbekistan. Prepare it like this: knead flour, water, eggs, butter and salt dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes. For the filling, chop the onion and meat, add spices to them. Roll out the dough into tortillas, place a portion of the filling on each and pinch the edges. Dip the seam in vegetable oil and place the samsa on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes and serve warm. Enjoy your meal!

- Flour - 300 Grams

How to cook "Jizzakh samsa"
Combine flour, water, egg, oil and salt. Knead the dough and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. Chop the meat and onion and combine in a bowl. Add salt and spices, stir. Divide the dough into pieces and roll out. Place some meat on each tortilla - about a tablespoon. Pick up two opposite edges of the dough and hold them together over the filling, and do the same for the other two edges. This way you have gathered the dough in the center from the four edges. Pinch tightly and shape the samsa into a ball. Dip the seam in vegetable oil and place on a baking sheet. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and bake for 40 minutes. Serve warm.
