Main ingredient: Flour / Corn flour
- Corn flour - 120 grams
- Wheat flour - 100 grams
- Butter - 150 Grams
- Egg yolk - 3 Pieces
- Egg White - 2 Pieces
- Cream - 100 Milliliters
- Candied fruits - 100 grams
- Lemon zest - 20 Grams
- Raisins - 50 Grams
- Sugar - 100 Grams
- Baking powder - 10 grams
How to make Cornmeal Pasca
1. First, soften the butter, then mix it with the icing sugar. Beat the mass until the powder is completely dissolved and the mass becomes homogeneous. Add the yolks gradually and continue whisking. 2. Gradually add lemon zest and juice of half a lemon, continue beating. 3. Sift corn and wheat flour separately, add together with baking powder to the dough, continuing to beat. 4. Then pour in the cream and continue whisking. Meanwhile, soak the raisins for 15 minutes. 5. After this time, add the candied fruits and raisins to the dough. Stir with a spatula or spoon. 6. Separately beat two egg whites with a pinch of salt until thick foam. Then gently (from bottom to top) mix them with the finished dough.
