  • Black peppercorns - 15 Pieces
  • Bay leaf - 3 pieces
  • Sunflower oil - 2 tbsp. spoons

How to cook "Smelt in marinade"

1. We clean the fish: cut off its head, cut the belly, clean out all the insides. Rinse thoroughly inside and out, fold it back onto a sieve to remove excess moisture. 2. Put the pan on the fire, pour a little sunflower oil into it. We send the fish to a hot surface, lightly fry the fish on both sides (so that it barely grabs). 3. For the marinade: mix water with salt, sugar, pepper and bay leaf. We clean, wash and chop the carrots, add them to the marinade. We put everything on fire, bring to a boil, then cook for 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat, pour in vinegar. We clean the onions and cut them into slices, put the onions and fish in the dishes, fill them with the resulting marinade. We leave for 24 hours. After that, the smelt is ready, bon appetit!
