The soup is very similar to porridge, so don't be alarmed if you end up with a very thick and viscous consistency. Real kolesh is made from lard or bacon.

- Millet - 1 Glass
- Water - 5 Glasses
- Potatoes - 2 Pieces
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Ham - 200 Grams
- Lard - 100 Grams
- Green Onions - To taste
- Salt - To taste

How to cook "Kulesh from millet"
1 Thoroughly rinse the cereals and put them in a saucepan, cover with water and put on fire, bring the mixture to a boil. 2 Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. As soon as the water boils, immediately place the potatoes in a saucepan, reduce heat and cook. 3 Finely chop the lard and ham. Fry them in a hot frying pan, add chopped onions. 4 When the millet is already cooked, transfer the contents of the pan to a saucepan, stir and salt. 5 Cover the saucepan with a lid and leave for 15 minutes. Serve the hot dish to the table, garnish it with green onions.
