- White cabbage - 1 Kilogram
- Carrots - 350 Grams
- Water - 1 Liter
- Salt - 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Sugar - 1 Tbsp. the spoon
- Bay leaf - 4-5 pieces
- Allspice peas - 5 pieces

How to cook "Hot Pickled Cabbage"
Wash the cabbage and chop finely. Peel the carrots, rinse and grate on a medium grater. Stir the cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Rub the vegetables with your hands. Place vegetables in a 2 quart jar. Place pepper and bay leaves on top. Prepare the brine. Bring water to a boil. Remove from heat and add salt and sugar. Stir quickly. Pour hot brine into a jar. Close the jar with gauze and elastic. Place in a bowl to drain off excess liquid. Leave in a warm place.
