Pleskavica is a delicious dish from Serbia. The dish is very popular in the Balkans, it is prepared quite quickly and easily. Today I will tell you how to cook pleskavitsa (classic version).
Cooking description:
In fact, pleskavitsa is a cutlet made from several types of minced meat and has a flat shape. I will use three minced meat at once: beef, pork and veal. You can take the minced meat which you like best, because there are "one thousand and one" ways to prepare this dish. The most important thing in making a real pleskavitsa is to marinate the minced meat, as we used to do with meat for barbecue. The minced meat is mixed with finely chopped onions and marinated for several hours in the refrigerator.

How to cook "Pleskavitsa"
1 Mix both minced meat and veal together. Finely chop the onion and add to the minced meat. Season with salt, pepper, add paprika. The minced meat must be kneaded very well so that our pleskavitsa do not fall apart during frying. 2 Place the minced meat in the refrigerator for several hours. It is necessary that he infused. 3 After the minced meat is marinated, take it out of the refrigerator and form the cutlets with wet hands. A traditional round flat pleskavitsa, I propose not to deviate from traditions and make it in the shape of a disk. 4 After you have made all the cutlets, you need to put them on a tray, cover with cling film and send them to the refrigerator for another hour. 5 Preheat a grill pan (you can also use a regular pan if you don't have a grill) and fry our pleskavi on medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve in a sliced pita with vegetables.
