Today you will not only learn how to make a sprouted buckwheat cocktail, but also how to sprout buckwheat at home. The cocktail turns out to be healthy and tasty, despite its simplicity.

Cooking description:

It's not even worth talking about the benefits of buckwheat. It has a positive effect on well-being and health. A cocktail made with sprouted buckwheat grains turns out to be surprisingly tasty, despite the fact that it requires only two ingredients: the grains themselves and water. The appearance and consistency of the cocktail resembles a regular milkshake, but this drink tastes completely different, it is less sweet and has its own unique taste. Try it, you will love it!

Purpose: For breakfast / For an afternoon snack

Main ingredient: Cereals

Dish: Drinks / Cocktails

Diet: Lean meals / Vegetarian food / Raw food recipes / Slimming recipes / Low calorie / PP recipes

Ingredients:

  • Buckwheat for germination - 200 grams (dry groats)
  • Water - 400-600 Grams
  • Sprouted buckwheat seeds - 300-350 Grams

Servings: 2-3

How to make Sprouted Buckwheat Cocktail

1. Pour the buckwheat into a glass or porcelain container (if the cereal is clean, it is not necessary to rinse it). Pour in clean, not boiled water. 2. Gently help the floating seeds to fall to the bottom of the container. Leave the seeds for 2-3, maximum 4 hours. Drain the water and cover the container with the lid so that the air flow does not stop. 3. Leave the seeds for a day and gently stir the buckwheat so that the top layer is on the bottom. Leave it on for another day and make sure that the seeds do not dry out. The buckwheat should germinate 1-1.5 cm. 4. Measure about 350 g and add the germinated buckwheat to the blender bowl. Add water so that it barely reaches the surface of the buckwheat. Whisk the shake for a few minutes until a fluffy white mass. Enjoy your meal!
