How to make "Peach compote for the winter"
Rinse peaches, place in a sterilized jar (2 l). Combine lemon juice with sugar and water (1 l). Stir until sugar dissolves, pour over peaches. Add the required amount of water, before reaching the neck of the jar by 2 cm. Cover the jar with a clean lid and place in a saucepan on a thick cloth. Pour warm water over the "shoulders" of the jar. Bring water to a boil over high heat and sterilize the cans of compote for 15 minutes. Roll up the lid. Wrap with warm cloth until cool. Store in a cool place.
