Cooking description:

Carcass beef in the oven in a cauldron or pots. You can cook it in a multicooker. It turns out juicy and tender meat with an abundance of gravy, so the dish can be served with a side dish of rice or other cereals. If the currants are sour, you can add more sugar to adjust the flavor. Beef with red currants is served hot.

  • Beef - 750 Grams

  • Garlic - 2 Cloves
  • Carrot - 1 Piece
  • Red currant - 0.5 cups
  • Red wine - 1.5 Glasses

  • Butter - 3 Tbsp. spoons
  • Flour - 3 Art. spoons
  • Rosemary - 1 Piece (twig)
  • Cocoa - 1 Art. the spoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp. spoons

How to cook "Beef with red currant"

1 Wash the beef and cut into small pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion, as well as the carrots and garlic. 2 In a cauldron, heat the vegetable oil and lay out the beef, fry over high heat for a few minutes until a crust forms, then reduce the heat. 3 Put onions, carrots and garlic in a cauldron for meat, chop the rosemary and send it there, cook for a minute and send butter to the cauldron. 4 Immediately after adding the oil, send flour, cocoa to the cauldron and mix everything, cook for 1-2 minutes and immediately pour in red wine and currants. Simmer over medium heat until the wine evaporates by half. 5 Pour in the broth, salt and cover the cauldron with a lid. Send it to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 45 minutes. 6 After the required time, remove and leave it for 10 minutes under the closed lid.
