- Milk - 1 Liter
- Chicken yolks - 8 pieces
- Sugar powder - 160 Grams
- Flour - 80 Grams
- Lemon - 1 Piece (zest)
How to make Milk Custard
1. Pour milk into a saucepan, put it on fire and add the zest of one lemon to it. Bring the mixture to a boil, then strain the milk through cheesecloth. 2. Put chicken yolks in a separate bowl, add sugar to them and beat until frothy. 3. Add flour to eggs and stir gently from top to bottom. 4. Pour hot milk over the egg yolks and stir. 5. Put the mixture on low heat and cook until thick, about 5-8 minutes. 6. Remove the saucepan from heat, gently stir the mixture with a spoon for a few minutes, then cover with foil and cool to room temperature, then store in the refrigerator.
