There are a lot of cookies, so if you like, divide the number of ingredients by two. It is best to decorate such cookies with protein icing, because it does not crumble, it can be easily repainted in any color and, on top of that, it keeps its shape well. Brown sugar can be replaced with regular sugar, but it tastes much better with brown sugar.

Ingredients:
- Butter - 250 grams (cold salted)
- Flour - 560 Grams
- Brown sugar - 210 Grams
- Soda - 1 Teaspoon
- Cloves - 1 Teaspoon (chopped)
- Water - 5 Art. spoons
- Molasses - 3 tbsp. spoons
- Corn syrup - 3 Tbsp. spoons
- Ginger - 3 Tbsp. spoons
- Cinnamon - 3 Tbsp. spoons
Servings: 6
How to make Gingerbread Men
1. Add sugar, cinnamon, cloves and ginger to a saucepan. Add corn syrup and molasses. Add water, bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat, add cold oil. 2. When the oil has dissolved, add the baking soda and stir. Pour the mixture into a mixer bowl, add flour and knead the dough. Divide the dough into two and wrap in plastic wrap. 3. Place in the freezer for 1 hour. Roll out the dough into a layer 0.5 mm thick and squeeze out the cookies with cookie cutters. Place the cookies in the freezer for 20 minutes. Preheat oven and baking sheet to 200 degrees. 4. Directly from the freezer, transfer the cookies to a hot baking sheet. Bake for 8-12 minutes. Cool the cookies. Decorate the cookies with icing and let cool. Enjoy your meal!
