For me, meatballs are a dish that can only be eaten with pasta or porridge. But these Italian ones can be served on their own. Minced meat is prepared from a mixture of pork and beef, cheese, Italian spices (fresh herbs or dried) must be added to them. Cook the meatballs separately and then simmer them in the sauce.

- Ground beef - 480 Grams
- Minced pork - 480 Grams
- Milk - 2/3 Cup
- Bread - 3 Slices
- Ricotta - 35 Grams
- Parmesan - 35 Grams
- Eggs - 2 Pieces
- Salt, pepper - To taste
- Parsley - 0.5 Bunch
- Oregano - 1 Teaspoon
- Garlic - 4 Cloves
- Flour - 1 Glass
- Olive Oil - 1/3 Cup
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Carrots - 1 Piece
- Tomatoes - 700 Grams
- Dried basil - 2 tbsp. spoons
- Tomato paste - 1 tbsp the spoon

How to cook "Italian meat balls in tomato sauce"
1. Finely chop the onion, carrot, 3-4 sprigs of parsley. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and lay out the vegetables, saute the vegetables until soft, add the minced garlic clove and finely chopped tomatoes. Add tomato paste, basil, salt and black pepper, simmer over low heat for 15-30 minutes. Puree the mixture and return to the skillet. 2. Pour milk into a saucepan. Heat it, then add the bread to the saucepan, mash it with a spatula. 3. Turn off heat and leave mixture to cool. 4. Put pork and ground beef in a bowl, add both grated cheese, eggs, salt, oregano, ground pepper, chopped garlic, parsley, bread mixture. 5. Stir the minced meat well until a homogeneous consistency is formed. 6. Form the meatballs about the size of a tennis ball.
