How to make Swiss Corn Casserole
1. Ingredients for the casserole. You can take different sausages for this dish, but raw smoked sausage should be mandatory. You can add smoked loin, pieces of pre-fried meat. 2. Steam raisins for 5 minutes with boiling water. Cut the sausage into small cubes. 3. Drain the raisins and mix a small part of the raisins with 1/4 of the sausage and set aside in a separate bowl. Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. 4. I had a piece of bell pepper and I decided to use it too:) cut the pepper into cubes. 5. Mix sausage, potatoes, pepper in a bowl, add corn grits, salt and flour. I have extra flour. 6. Grease a baking dish with butter and melt the remaining butter. Add milk and flour to the mixture of ingredients and stir thoroughly.
