How to make a Pancake with Caramel Syrup
1. For the syrup, melt the sugar over medium heat in a large saucepan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has a pleasant copper color. Add salt and butter. Stir until the butter melts. Reduce heat and slowly add heavy cream, stirring constantly. At this point, the sauce will begin to foam. Beat until the sauce is smooth. 2. Leave aside. Store the prepared sauce in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Warm up gently before serving. 3. We bake pancakes. Using a whisk, combine buckwheat and wheat flour, sugar, salt, milk and eggs in a bowl. Melt the butter in a skillet. Spread the melted butter evenly over the entire surface of the pan. 4. Pour the dough into a hot skillet with a ladle and fry on both sides until the pancake is brown.Place the pancake on a serving dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar (if used) and pour over the prepared caramel syrup.
