Bulgur is prepared easily and quickly, the dishes with it are hearty and tasty. This recipe is for vegetarians and those who are fasting. But I'll tell you a secret - my husband and son, lovers of meat, eat bulgur with mushrooms with pleasure.

Ingredients:

  • Bulgur - 2/3 Glass
  • Champignons - 6-8 Pieces
  • Onion - 1 Piece
  • Sun-dried tomatoes - 4-6 Pieces
  • Garlic - 1-2 Cloves
  • Vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt - 0.5 Teaspoons (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper - 1 Pinch (to taste)
  • Water - 1.5 Glasses

Servings: 2-3

How to cook "Bulgur with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes"

1. Fry finely chopped onions and mushrooms with a spoonful of vegetable oil until tender. 2. Add finely chopped garlic and cook for another minute. 3. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into small pieces, add to the mushrooms, mix and remove from heat. 4. In a thick-walled saucepan, heat a spoonful of vegetable oil and pour out the washed bulgur. Fry, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes over the heat a little over medium. 5. Fill with water, add 1/3 teaspoon of salt and cook, stirring for 5 minutes. 6. When the water has practically evaporated, add mushrooms and tomatoes to the bulguru.
