  • Salt - 2 Teaspoons
  • Sugar - 1 Teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Dry Fast Acting Yeast - 2 Teaspoons (rounded)
  • Flour - 5 Glasses

How to make Potato Bread

1. Peel potatoes, boil them and make mashed potatoes. You should make ¾ cup puree. Pour two cups of milk into a saucepan, add sugar and salt, heat over medium heat until the milk is bubbling, then remove the pan from heat. Add olive oil and mashed potatoes to the pan, mix thoroughly, it is better to use a mixer for this. After the mixture is cool and warm, add yeast, 2 cups flour to the saucepan and mix everything with a mixer on medium speed for 4 minutes. 2. Change the mixer attachment to the hook, add the rest of the flour and knead the dough on medium speed for 8 minutes, you should get a loose and slightly sticky dough. 3. Place the dough in a bowl pre-oiled with olive oil, cover with plastic wrap and let rise for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. 4.The dough should at least double in size. 5. Remove the film from the dough, push it down with your hand to reduce it slightly. 6. Place the dough on a flat, lightly floured surface and knead several times, then cut the dough into two pieces.
