  • Cream - 200 Milliliters

  • Potato starch - 20 grams
  • Vanillin - 1 Piece (bag)
  • Jam or thick jam - 2 Tbsp. spoons (cherry or strawberry)

How to Make Sweet Valentine's Day Pie

1. In a bowl or on a cutting board, rub cubes of cold butter and sifted flour with your hands until you have a flour crumb. 2. Make a "slide", in the center put the egg, sugar and lemon zest. 3. Knead to a homogeneous, smooth dough, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least half an hour. 4. For the cream, mix the yolk with sugar, save the protein. 5. Add the sifted starch. 6. Add milk and cream in portions, stirring. Add vanillin and put cream on low heat. Cook, stirring constantly with a whisk, for 5-10 minutes, until the cream thickens. Pour the cream into a large, flat dish, cover with cling film, and let cool to room temperature.
