I remember the taste of this porridge since childhood and cook it quite often and not only with prunes, but also with dried apricots or raisins. This porridge is not at all like cooked on the stove, more like a pie or casserole. You can't put it in words - cook and taste:)

- Millet - 1/2 Glass
- Milk - 1/2 Cup
- Butter - 30-40 grams
- Prunes - 6-8 Pieces
- Eggs - 1 Piece
- Sugar - 1 Tbsp. spoon (to taste)
- Vanilla Sugar - 0.5 Teaspoons
- Salt - 1/3 Teaspoon

How to cook "Baked millet porridge with prunes"
1. So that millet does not taste bitter, I always pour boiling water over it for 5-7 minutes. Then we drain the water and rinse the cereals with cold water, until the water is clear. 2. Pour the washed cereal with a glass of cold water, add salt and cook over medium heat without a lid and in no case stir. 3. When the water level has dropped below the level of the cereal by more than half, add the butter. We spread small pieces over the entire surface of the porridge, cover with a lid and turn off the heat under the pan. Leave for 15 minutes. And then you can mix the porridge and cool. 4. Pour the prunes with boiling water for 5-10 minutes, the time depends on the hardness of the prunes. Then we drain the water. 5. Mix the milk with the egg. 6. Mix millet porridge with prunes, cut into pieces, sugar and vanilla.
