- Hake - 1 Kilogram (frozen)
- Potatoes - 3 Pieces (large)
- Onions - 2 Pieces
- Green beans - 200 Grams (frozen)
- Peas - 150 Grams (canned)
- Garlic - 3 Cloves
- Lemon - 1/2 Piece
- Red Pepper - 2 Teaspoons
- Seasoning - 1 Art. spoon (for fish)
- Salt - To taste
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Olive Oil - To taste

How to make Galician Hake
1. The first step is to defrost the fish, clean it from the skin and everything else. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into the fish, sprinkle with fish spices and salt. Leave to marinate. 2. Peel onions and potatoes. Cut the onion into half rings and the potatoes into slices. 3. Lightly fry the onion in olive oil along with the garlic squeezed through a press. 4. When the onion is slightly soft, add the potatoes, bay leaf, salt and red pepper to it. Cover with water so that it covers vegetables and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. 5. After five minutes add the green beans and simmer for another 5 minutes, covered. 6. After 5 minutes, remove the lid, put the pickled fish on top of the vegetables and sprinkle with peas. Simmer for 20 minutes with the lid open, until the fish is cooked.
