For lovers of unusual, tasty and original soups-puree, I offer a recipe for how to cook the onion soup "My French Diet". This soup has a bright, full-bodied taste and an appetite-stimulating aroma.
Cooking description:
Looking at the list of ingredients for making this soup, you can tell that there are very few of them, and therefore the soup will turn out to be not tasty enough, rich, etc. But I hasten to assure you: the soup turns out to be very tasty primarily due to the fact that several types of onions are used, which complement each other, and also because the onions are first fried and then boiled, as a result of which the taste of the soup is very rich and bright. If you are a fan of cereal soups and mashed soups, then be sure to try my recipe!

How to make My French Diet Onion Soup
Prepare all the ingredients you need. Peel and rinse the onions. Cut the leeks into thin slices, and cut the onions into quarter rings (or smaller). Sauté both types of onion in oil or butter until slightly golden. You can also add some garlic or garlic powder if desired. Place the fried onions in a saucepan, add salt. Pour everything with broth or water and cook until the onions are soft (I cooked for about 30 minutes, during which time the onions became sooo soft, and the liquid boiled down significantly). Then add the processed cheese, stir and remove the pan from heat.
