Please note that the amount of ingredients in this recipe is designed for an 18 cm shape, the cake is small. If you have a large family, feel free to multiply the ingredients by two. For such a recipe, you can take sweet and sour and even sour apples; during the preparation of the cream, you can adjust the amount of sugar. It is better to take sour cream fat and thick. The cream will saturate the cakes well and will be tastier. Vanilla sugar can be replaced with a small pinch of cinnamon for flavorful results.

  • Flour - 240 Grams
  • Sugar - 200 Grams (100g in tetso, 100g in cream)
  • Margarine - 125 Grams (or butter)
  • Apples - 500 grams (peeled)
  • Butter - 100 grams (in cream)
  • Sour cream - 200 Grams
  • Vanilla Sugar - 10 Grams
  • Egg - 1 Piece
  • Baking powder - 1.5 Teaspoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 Tbsp. spoons

How to make "Delicate Apple Cake"

1. Peel the apples, cut into slices and pour over with lemon juice. Place the apples in a heavy-bottomed skillet, add a little water and simmer under a closed lid for 5 minutes. 2. Then add sugar and simmer over low heat until cooked for 15-20 minutes. Grind hot apples with a blender until puree and immediately add sour cream with butter. 3. Stir until smooth, microwave if necessary. Add vanilla sugar, cool and refrigerate for 3 hours. 4. Prepare the dough: mix sifted flour with baking powder and cold butter grated on a coarse grater. Grind the mixture into crumbs. Shake the egg with sugar and add to the dough. Knead the dough: soft, homogeneous. 5. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Divide the dough into 5 pieces.Roll the dough into a layer on floured parchment paper. 6. Stick the dough with a fork and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Cut hot cakes to the size of the mold. Beat the cooled cream with a mixer, generously grease the cooled cakes with it.
