How to make Lebanese Lentil Soup
1. Pour lentils with 2 liters of cold water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. 2. Peel the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into quarters and squeeze the garlic through a press. 3. Fry the onion in olive oil until golden brown. 4. When the onions are browned, add the garlic. Cook for a couple more minutes. 5. After 25 minutes, add fried onions and garlic to the lentils, as well as spaghetti, broken into three parts.
