Every housewife should know how to make a boiled lard snack - a budget recipe for an incredibly tasty and mouth-watering snack! The lard turns out to be tender, juicy and fragrant, worth a try!
Cooking description:
The good thing about flaky lard is that it is evenly saturated with salt, spices and vegetable juice (in this case, carrot juice). At first glance, it seems that the appetizer will not keep its shape, but it is enough just to tie the fat well with a thread before cooking - and the next day it can be cut into neat portioned cubes. I advise you to use sea salt in combination with pepper and spices, this will make the lard tastier.

How to cook "Boiled lard snack"
1. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater in long strips. Chop the garlic. Prepare the lard: cut it lengthwise into layers. 2. Grease each layer of bacon generously with salt (with pepper and dry garlic), mustard, chopped garlic and carrots. Place the next layers of bacon on top in the same way. 3. Tie the bacon neatly and tightly with a string to keep it in shape after boiling. Wrap the bacon in a baking sleeve and thread again. 4. Put bacon in cold water, bring to a boil and simmer for 40 minutes. Let the lard cool in water, put it in the refrigerator and leave it in the cold overnight. The appetizer is ready. Enjoy your meal!
