To make a pancake pie, you can use absolutely any filling: purely vegetable or only meat. My version with chicken and mushrooms is classic, so I advise you to try it at least once. For the filling I use a small chicken breast and thigh to make the filling juicier. And do not forget to pour the fat in which chicken, mushrooms and onions were fried into the filling from the pan.

Ingredients:

  • Milk - 500 Milliliters
  • Eggs - 5 Pieces (3 pcs - in the dough, 2 pcs - in the filling)
  • Salt - 1 Teaspoon
  • Allspice - To taste (ground)
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. spoons
  • Butter - 30 Grams
  • Flour - 200 Grams
  • Chicken - 400 Grams
  • Champignons - 300 Grams
  • Onion - 1 Piece
  • Garlic - 1 Clove
  • Thyme - To taste
  • Sour cream - 2 Art. spoons

How to make Chicken and Mushroom Pancake Pie

Prepare all the ingredients you need. Let's start by making pancakes. Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt. Then add some milk and stir. Pour in all the flour and stir well, you should get a very thick viscous mass. Now add a little milk and stir well with a hand whisk or mixer to get the consistency you want. You may need a little more milk or a little less milk than the recipe says. It all depends on the size of the eggs and the quality of the flour. The dough should turn out like thick kefir, but very viscous. When the dough is ready, pour in 1-2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix well again. Thanks to this simple technique, the pancakes will not stick to the pan and you will not need to grease it. If you have time, then let the dough stand for 30-40 minutes,from this your pancakes will only benefit. Preheat the skillet well and pour a small amount of dough into it. I use a scoop from a multicooker - this is the perfect amount of dough for my pan. Fry the pancakes for a minute on each side. Pancakes are ready! They turned out to be very beautiful and very tasty, but they will be even tastier in the future!
