Chicken curry rolls - a strudel-themed interpretation, only with spiced chicken curry and lime juice. Today I am sharing a recipe on how to make such a quick snack, simple and easy. I already had a ready-made filo dough, you can make it yourself, or you can use ordinary puff pastry without yeast, rolling it out very thinly. The filling is spicy, with a bright curry flavor and aroma. Chicken can be boiled, baked or in any ready-made form. I usually have chicken breast from the baked one; this part of the chicken is not favored in my family. But for such rolls, that's it. In general, any meat or fish of your choice can be used for the filling. Enjoy!

  • Onion - 1 Piece
  • Green Onions - 1/2 Bunch
  • Garlic - 3 Cloves
  • Ground curry - 2 Teaspoons
  • Boiled chicken - 400 Gram
  • Cilantro - 1/4 Bunch
  • Lime or lemon juice - 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Butter - 4 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Breadcrumbs - 30 Grams
  • Filo dough - 8 pieces

How to make Chicken Curry Rolls

Peel the onion, cut into half rings and fry in a pan until golden brown. Add finely chopped cilantro and curry. Simmer for another minute and add the chicken, cut into thin strips. Add finely chopped green onions, lime juice and pressed garlic. Heat for 1 minute and remove from heat. Spread the dough on a work surface and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle a strip of dough with breadcrumbs and lay out the filling.
