Beef, mushrooms, onions and carrots for the filling, and on top is a potato "coat" with cheese. You can also put any cheese, herbs, onions in potatoes, the main thing is that all this is well combined to taste. Enjoy!

How to make English Shepherd's Pie
Peel the potatoes, boil in salted water. Add milk, cheese, finely chopped dill, salt and puree. Peel the onions and carrots and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Add the minced meat and mushrooms, cut into thin slices. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste. Cook for 30 minutes. Grease a baking dish with butter and add the minced meat and mushroom filling. Top with mashed potatoes and spread evenly over the mold.
