How to cook "Delicious Candied Pumpkin"
1. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes, transfer to a saucepan, cover with sugar, let it stand at room temperature for 8 hours to let the pumpkin release the juice. 2. Add citric acid and nutmeg. Place the saucepan on the fire, bring to a boil over low heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir, let the pumpkin cool. 3. When the pumpkin has cooled, remove it from the syrup and boil the pumpkin-free syrup for 5-7 minutes. Add the pumpkin to the syrup again and let cool. Repeat the procedure: remove the pumpkin and boil the syrup. 4. Then remove the pumpkin onto a strainer, drain and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Send the pumpkin into an oven preheated to 100 degrees for an hour and a half (open the oven door slightly). 5. Then dry the candied fruit on the table at room temperature for 5 days. Enjoy your meal!
