How to make "Gooseberry and Strawberry Jam"
1 Wash the gooseberries, place in a small saucepan with water. Put on fire. 2 After boiling, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until the berries are tender. 3 Then mash the gooseberries in a puree. 4 Wash the strawberries, dry, remove the tails. Mash lightly with a crush. 5 Combine strawberries, gooseberries, sugar and lemon juice. Put on fire and bring to a boil. 6 Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 20 minutes (or until desired consistency). Then put the jam in jars and roll up.
