This dessert can be stored for up to six months. It looks very nice in a can and plays the role of a sweet present in an original way. My children are very fond of such organic apple "chewing gum":) Pastila is prepared rather quickly, and eaten even faster. Try making apple marshmallow at home, use my recipe, just in time for the apple harvest.

How to cook "Apple Pastila"
Cut apples into quarters, place a heavy-bottomed saucepan, add water and bring to a boil over low heat. Boil for 15 minutes under a closed lid, stirring occasionally. Remove the lid and, while stirring, simmer the puree for 8-12 minutes until thickened. The next step is to rub the puree through a sieve. This will make the marshmallow smooth. Stir the mixture with sugar. In an oven preheated to 70 degrees, send a baking sheet with a thin layer of applesauce for 6-8 hours with a blower. Dry the pastille until firm. The surface should be glossy and shiny. Let the layer cool and roll into a roll. For convenience, cut it into several pieces and place in a jar. Enjoy your meal!
