  • Apple juice - 30 Milliliters
  • Lemon juice - 2 Teaspoons
  • Sugar - 120 Grams
  • Starch - 2 Art. spoons
  • Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Ground cinnamon - 0.5 Teaspoons
  • Nutmeg - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - To taste (for greasing the mold)

How to make "Polish Apple Pie"

Prepare all the ingredients you need. Sift flour, icing sugar and baking powder into a dry bowl. Add cold butter. Chop the butter with a knife and crush into crumbs. Add yolks and yogurt. Knead a soft dough. If the dough does not form well, add a little protein. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Wrap each in a bag. Put one part in the refrigerator, the other in the freezer. In the meantime, let's prepare the filling. Wash the apples, peel and core, cut into small pieces. Place the sliced apples in a saucepan and cover with apple juice. Add spices and simmer over low heat, covered for 10 minutes. Then add sugar and simmer for another 5 minutes. Add the starch and lemon juice. Mix everything well. The filling is ready. By this time, our dough has cooled down a bit. Roll out the dough from the refrigerator into a layer (taking into account the sides) for a 22-24 cm shape. The side should be 2-3 cm high. The sides can be stretched with your fingers right in the mold.
