How to cook German Stollen
1. In a bowl add raisins, almonds, candied fruit, finely chopped ginger, add nutmeg, vanilla seeds, rum and stir, leave overnight. After the required time, fold everything onto a sieve. 2. Mix warm milk, yeast and honey, then add 1/3 of flour into the mixture, cover with a towel and leave for 1 hour. In a mixer bowl, beat the eggs. In a separate bowl, combine 140 grams of room temperature butter with a pinch of salt until fluffy. 3. Pour eggs into the butter mixture in a thin stream and beat all the time. 4. Add remaining flour and yeast mixture. 5. Install the dough hook and knead for about 5-7 minutes or by hand for 15 minutes. 6. Add the previously prepared spice and fruit mixture to the dough, mix.
