How to make Crispy Fried Onions
Prepare the indicated ingredients. Peel medium-sized bulbs, rinse in water and cut into rings 0.5 cm thick - no less! Beat the chicken egg into a bowl, add salt, pepper and beat. Pour the breadcrumbs into another bowl. Dip the onion rings in the egg mass, then in the breadcrumbs mass. In a cauldron or ladle with a non-stick bottom, heat the vegetable oil to a boil and only then put 2-3 rings in the oil, frying until cooked for about 1-2 minutes. In unheated oil, all the batter will fall off the rings and the oil will smoke! Line a plate with paper napkins and use a slotted spoon to spread the fried rings on top of them to remove excess fat. Serve the finished crispy fried onions with sauces or dips. Enjoy your meal!
