Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes - 1.5 Kilograms
  • Apples - 5 Pieces
  • Sugar - 3 Teaspoons
  • Salt - 3 Teaspoons
  • Paprika - 2 Teaspoons
  • Peppercorns - 1 Teaspoon
  • Cloves - 3-4 Pieces
  • Apple cider vinegar - 5 tbsp. spoons

How to cook "Krasnodar Sauce"

Prepare all ingredients. Cut the tomato into quarters, then grate on a coarse grater so that the peel remains in your hands (we will not use it). Heat the tomato puree over medium heat. Peel the apples, core them, then cut into medium-sized squares. Add them to the boiled tomato puree. Then add all the spices, salt and sugar to the pan. Simmer the tomato puree over low heat for about an hour. Stir occasionally to keep it from burning. When the mixture is halved, grind it through a fine sieve. Put the sauce back on medium heat, add vegetable oil and apple cider vinegar. Bring the sauce to a boil. Pour the sauce into sterilized jars, close the lid and leave to cool completely.
