How to cook Pinto Beans
Let's prepare the ingredients. We wash the beans, fill with water and leave for 4 hours. When the beans swell and absorb water, put them in a saucepan, rinse them again, fill them with fresh water and cook over low heat until tender. About an hour and a half. Let's make a vegetable bean sauce. Chop the onion finely and fry in sunflower oil. Add finely chopped bell peppers and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Next, add tomato sauce, herbs, salt and pepper if needed. I have homemade sauce already seasoned.
