Knafe is an oriental dessert that originated in the Palestinian city of Nablus. It was one of the main dishes of the former Ottoman Empire in the Eastern Mediterranean.

How to cook "Knafe"
Prepare the required ingredients. Defrost the kadaif dough. Punch cottage cheese with sugar with a hand blender. Add 1 gram of lemon zest, candied fruit and stir. Divide the defrosted kadaif dough into the fibers. And use the scissors to cut into smaller pieces. Boil the syrup. Dissolve sugar in water, add lemon juice and let it boil, but do not boil. Divide the dough into two parts visually. Put the first part in a frying pan (diameter 26-28 cm). Tamp down.
