The recipe is very simple and hassle-free, but it turns out to be very tasty jam. Aromatic and thick, almost like jam. It can be prepared both from unripe green berries and from those that have already turned red. A jar of such jam in winter will be a great addition to a mug of hot tea. Take note of the recipe!

How to cook "Gooseberry jam through a meat grinder"
Prepare all ingredients. Sort the gooseberries, leaving the berries intact and rinse well. Twist the gooseberries in a meat grinder. Drain the resulting mixture into a deep bowl or saucepan in which you are going to make the jam. Add all the sugar to the puree, stir and place on the stove. Stirring, over low heat, bring the mass to a boil and, removing the periodically formed foam, boil the jam to the desired thickness. 15 minutes is enough for me. Transfer the finished jam to sterilized jars, screw the jars with sterile lids, turn over, wrap and leave to cool. This jam is stored very well. I behave perfectly even at room temperature, I store it in the pantry. From the specified amount, approximately 0.5 liters of jam is obtained.
