How to make "Grape and Plum Compote"
Prepare the indicated ingredients. Taste plums and grapes before rolling in order to know the amount of granulated sugar that will need to be added to the drink. Boil a kettle of water. Rinse the plums in water, remove the tails and divide into halves. Remove the seeds and place the fruit halves in a clean, rinsed container. If you use cherry plum, double the amount of sugar and slightly reduce the amount of liquid for the compote. Tear off the grape berries from the brush, rinse them in water and pour into a container. Pour boiling water into the jar, cover with a metal lid and let it steam for about 7-8 minutes. After the specified time, change the lid to the drain one, drain the liquid into the pan and boil again. Pour granulated sugar and citric acid into the jar. If desired, add sugar and acid directly to the saucepan to boil the syrup, if that's more convenient for you.
