If you want to add more acidity, or if the apples are not sour, put a slice of lemon in each jar.

How to make "Apple and Grape Compote for the Winter"
Prepare all the ingredients you need. Choose sweet grapes and sour apples, it will be very tasty! Rinse the apples, cut in half and remove the core. Sterilize jars of 3 liters in any convenient way, put half of the prepared apples in each jar, as well as grape berries, which are separated from the branch and rinsed. Pour 1 glass of sugar into each jar. Pour boiling water over the jars to the very top. Roll up the cans with metal lids. If you are afraid that the cans will explode, you can do it a little differently: pour boiling water over it, hold it for 15 minutes, then drain the water, boil it over, refill it and then roll it up. But I usually have banks without it.
