How to make "Kvass from oatmeal"
Prepare the indicated ingredients. Pour the flakes into a bowl or saucepan, rinse them in water. Use only natural flakes, not instant flakes! Then you can pour the flakes into a jar or leave in a saucepan. Pour in a pinch of citric acid and granulated sugar. Boil water and pour boiling water into a container, steam the flakes for about 10-15 minutes. Then strain the liquid, pour into a jug or jar. Cool to 30 degrees. Pour dry yeast into the liquid. If you decide to add fresh yeast, then slightly increase the rate. Stir everything gently and leave at room temperature for 4 hours, covering the neck with gauze or a napkin.
