Most often, shakshuka means an Israeli dish of eggs and tomatoes. However, the Turkish version has nothing to do with it.
Cooking description:
Below I will give a detailed description of how to cook Turkish shakshuka. All vegetables must be cut into cubes, fry in turn in a frying pan and pour over with tomato sauce. Instead of tomato juice, you can use natural sugar-free yogurt. This is a cold vegetable appetizer based on eggplant, bell pepper and zucchini. It takes a little tinkering to prepare, but the result is worth it! The dish turns out to be tasty and aromatic!

Prepare all ingredients. Peel the eggplant, cut into strips and soak in cold salted water for half an hour. Cut all vegetables into cubes. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Fry the potatoes in a large amount of oil for 5-10 minutes, so that they brown. Then fry the eggplant separately until soft. Fry the zucchini until half cooked so that the cubes retain their shape.
