How to cook "Italian tomato sauce for the winter"
Prepare all ingredients. Make a criss-cross cut on the tomatoes, pour boiling water over, leave for 5 minutes, then pour over with ice water. Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and cut into slices for convenience. Grind the tomatoes with a blender until puree. Put the tomato puree over low heat and simmer. Cut the onions into small cubes and fry in a pan until soft. You don't need to fry onions! When the onion is almost done, add the minced garlic and cook together for 1-2 minutes. Add the onion and garlic to the tomato puree. Cook for half an hour, stirring occasionally. Then add all the spices, finely chopped herbs, sugar and salt. Simmer the tomato sauce for about half an hour, the consistency should resemble thick sour cream.
